Annual De Beauvoir Flower and Produce Show

Another successful Flower and Produce Show. A big thank you to everyone who participated and supported Sunday’s event.
From the proceeds of last year’s Flower and Produce Show, the Club has supported:- St Mary’s Secret Garden – therapeutic and community garden
- Freedom from Torture Natural Growth Project
- The Hackney Marsh Partnership Community Gardening Club
- Dalston Curve Garden –community garden
- Local initiatives to beautify areas in public view through planting – see Planting of theMonth
- Planting at the junction of Southgate and Northchurch Roads
To date it has been agreed that this year’s Show will support
- Bee-friendly planting in De Beauvoir Square
- Part funding of an horticultural training trip of a diploma student at Kew
Committee is meeting in November to discuss projects to support this year.
