There wasn’t a spare seat in the house for our wreath making workshop on 6th December 2022. Issy Crossman from The Flower Appreciation Society led proceedings with a wreath demonstration and then it was down to everyone to have a go at making their own. Irene Slegt brought a huge pile of willow to weave into hoops and members brought a selection of greenery to share.
We ran a raffle for Issy’s wreath which was won by Juliet Webster – proceeds raised £60 for the St Peter’s Warm Wednesdays project.
All this was washed down with a glass of mulled wine and a warm mince pie – the perfect start to the festive season.
