The competition was initiated by London in Bloom and Britain in Bloom in order to encourage people who are lucky enough to have a front garden to grow as much as we can to help combat air pollution and think twice about hard landscaping and using it as a car park.
Gillian Daniell, Liz Grice and Jay and Jeremy Hornsby live in Mortimer Road. We are neighbours and share a love for our gardens. The low railings between our gardens encourage the appearance of a beautiful flow of planting from one garden to the next so it actually appears as one garden.
